Membership & Shepherding
Interested in becoming a Mason? Begin with a conversation. Explore what Freemasonry means, meet our Brothers, and learn how you and your family can take part in life at Lillian Lodge.
A place to begin
Talk with a Brother about your interest in Masonry. We can answer your questions, explain the membership process, and help you arrange a visit. Please call ahead so we can welcome you.
Levels of Masonry
In a Masonic Lodge, membership progresses through three degrees, often called the levels of Masonry. Each encourages learning, reflection, and service.
1. Entered Apprentice
The first degree begins a Brother’s Masonic education, introducing lessons about character, responsibility, and the values of the fraternity.
2. Fellow Craft
The second degree emphasizes learning, personal growth, and applying knowledge in daily life.
3. Master Mason
The third degree completes the Lodge’s degree journey, emphasizing fidelity, reflection, and a lasting commitment to the Brotherhood.
