LILLIAN, ALABAMA — The Rewards Foundation, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is organizing a major food distribution for the Lillian community on Friday, November 6, 2026. Lillian Masonic Lodge #925 F&AM is providing the major financial support that makes the local distribution possible. The Optimist Club of Perdido Bay is a supporting sponsor.
At least 5,000 pounds of food are expected from Feeding the Gulf Coast. The food will be delivered to Lillian Masonic Lodge, where volunteers will sort and pack it into boxes and bags for distribution to neighbors in need. Pickup is scheduled to begin at 12 noon at 12600 South Perdido Street in Lillian. Participants must be Alabama residents with a need for food assistance.
Jeff and Kathy Keener of the Rewards Foundation are coordinating the project. The foundation is affiliated with Feeding the Gulf Coast as a mobile food pantry. That partnership connects the local effort with a regional food distribution network, while Lodge funding and community volunteers make the day’s work possible in Lillian.
The Lodge’s support reflects its charitable commitment to the community it has served since its founding. The Optimist Club of Perdido Bay is also helping support the distribution as part of its work for local families. Together, the organizations hope to ease a practical burden for neighbors facing food insecurity.
Volunteers will prepare the food for distribution after delivery. Those seeking food should plan for the noon pickup and consult the event details before coming to the Lodge.
